Large Volumes of Online Tests Administered
In the 2022â23 academic year, our Test Delivery System architecture supported 115.8M online tests, including summative, interim, alternate, and English language proficiency assessments, as well as practice tests. Practice tests are available to enrolled students as well as guest users.

Platform Designed for High Concurrency
In 2023, our Test Delivery System successfully handled 1.5M simultaneous test-takers, with an average database response time of 1/10 of a second.
The Test Delivery System is geographically distributed and massively scaled. As the student-to-device ratio approaches 1:1 and more and more students are testing online, our system is already designed to seamlessly support the exponential growth.

4 Industry-Standard Certifications
Security
We are excited to announce that in addition to being ISO 27001 certified since 2019, we are now certified on ISO 27018 for cloud-based solutions. ISO 27001 is one of the most widely recognized and internationally accepted standards on information security. It uses a top-down evaluation of management processes and policies, proving that an organization has put in place a set of best practices on information security. ISO 27018 covers processing personally identifiable information (PII) and ensuring security and privacy in public clouds.
Trustwave, a third-party security audit organization, conducted a 2023 vulnerability assessment on CAI's systems and processes. CAI was assessed Level 5 Optimized, which is the highest audit rating possible across all 18 CIS controls.

TIDE, TDS, and Reporting have received Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) certification. We are committed to 100% accessibility and serving all users and all learners.
